Five Must-Haves for Spring Traveling

Spring time marks the end of winter and the start of sunny and tropical travels for all. Whether you’re planning to get away with your day one crew or with your new bae, make sure you’re prepared for anything that might come your way. Here are my Top 5 essential spring travel items!

1. Umbrella

Be prepared for unexpected showers with a stylish umbrella that can easily be stowed inside your handbag. A cute umbrella can actually be just the accessory you need to make a simple outfit stand out, and if nothing else at least it will keep you dry from an untimely rain!

2. Bikini

You’ve been hiding that body under thick sweaters and jackets all winter long. What better way to celebrate the sun than with a new trendy bikini. Make sure you figure out which new styles best accentuate your figure so you can feel comfortable and confident by the beach.

3. Light Sweater/Jacket

For breezy mornings or chilly evenings, coordinate a light sweater or jacket with your outfit. During the day when the sun is out, you can tie it around your waste or keep it in your bag but you’ll be prepared for the sudden temperature drops.

4. The Perfect Mules

I love a good mule during spring and fall because they are perfect for transitional weather. On a cold spring morning, a mule will give you more coverage than a sandal but during the warmest afternoon hours a mule is a little more breathable then a boot or a sneaker. Whether it’s a flat sandal or a heel, a mule is a great addition to your wardrobe and with the right detail it just may be your best spring shoe!

5. Colorful Accessories

Add a pop of color to your outfits by accessorizing with color. Bright colors scream spring time! You might search for a pop of color with some trendy sunglasses, a colorful piece of statement jewelry, or a bright eyeshadow or lip pigment.
