I’m back in Atlanta now for my first full winter since 2014. It hasn’t been easy… actually I’ve really hated the cold weather. But since I’m here for the long haul, I figured it would be best to survive this winter season in style!
Today I’m off to lunch with a friend in midtown, so I’ve mixed and matched different textures to make a fun and chic outfit that I think will look great for the occasion. The look I’ve chosen is perfect because I’m super comfortable, but the feminine touches still dress it up enough that I’d be ready to hit the town after lunch with my girls if need be!
I started with a graphic, band T-shirt for ultimate comfort and a laid-back weekend feel. I then paired it with a green corduroy pencil-skirt to add a more chic and sophisticated element to the look rather than going super casual with jeans or etc. Because it’s winter time, the over the knee boots are the perfect touch so that I don’t have to brave the cold with too much exposed skin. Then I finished off the look with a very versatile black faux-fur jacket so that I don’t catch pneumonia in this terrible weather! (jokes) The MCM clutch is the perfect accessory to pair with this fun look.
