Manzil means “home” in Arabic, and that is definitely how I felt during my stay at Manzil Downtown. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is chic and quiet in the center of the bustling downtown area of Dubai. The location is perfect for seeing the city as it’s a short walk from Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, plenty of restaurants, and more.
The rooms were super chic, with a modern design infused with some traditional Arabic influence. The best part about the room was our incredible downtown Burj Khalifa view. Around 7pm when the sun was starting to set and the city lights came on, the ambiance was absolutely amazing. We could even see the Dubai fountains from our room. Amazingly enough, although we were at the center of all the action downtown, the room was still so quiet and I slept like a baby!
Spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool which also had such a cute ambiance. The traditional Arabic style buildings which surround the hotel backed by the modern style towers that makeup downtown was a beautiful view to enjoy while enjoying the warm afternoon in the pool. If you’re visiting Dubai in the summer months, I wouldn’t recommend going out to the pool until after 4pm as it gets unbearably hot during the daytime.
If you’re anything like me then of course you’re wondering about the food. I ate at a few restaurants in the hotel and I enjoyed them all. My absolute favorite was breakfast at the Boulevard Kitchen. The choices were amazing and the food was cooked to perfection. I’m a huge breakfast fanatic so I was very satisfied to start my day with such an amazing breakfast spread!
I also really enjoyed the Levant Brunch and dinner/shisha at the courtyard. The levant brunch is three hours of unlimited food and drink.. who doesn’t love that? The food was Arabic style and there were so many yummy options. If you go there, definitely try the passionfruit drink! Dinner and shisha in the courtyard was the perfect vibe! I love how the courtyard feels like you’re inside until you look up and see the open sky above you. I still don’t understand how they manage to keep that place air conditioned but props to them. Try the butter chicken in the courtyard… it’s bomb!
Last stop on my food tour was Nezesaussi Grill which was so delicious. Everything I’ve ever tried from Nezesaussie’s has been absolutely delicious so definitely make time to eat there during your stay! They have a really good Ladies Night offer on Tuesdays as well as an awesome Friday brunch and Saturday roast!
So, all in all I’d definitely recommend this chic and cozy hotel in the heart of downtown Dubai. The atmosphere, the location, and the ambiance were all a win! Check out my photos below to see the Manzil Downtown experience from my lens!
