Eating my way through the South of France

I don’t think I have ever eaten as much bread and cheese in my life as I have in the past few days in Côte d’Azur. The French really do it right when it comes to those two! But luckily, I also had the chance to eat some other amazing food while I was here!

My favorite restaurant during my trip was a cute little spot in Cannes called Upside Down Cafe. It’s just opposite the marina with great vibes and views of the water. The bread: bomb; the Chardonnay: bomb; the carpaccio salad: bomb; the coeur de filet de boeuf: don’t get me started… bomb! Being able to enjoy this yummy food while sitting and watching the view of all the people and water was really great! I would definitely recommend.

I also was fortunate enough to get out for a nice dinner at a restaurant called La Chunga. It was a chic little place, with live music and good food. It turns into a bit of a club after dinner hours which was a fun surprise!

Travel Tip: Get shareable dishes with your crew so you can try more than one entree. I just want to add that if you’re eating beside me then you’re also sharing your food with me. Haha! I love to share food so that I can taste everything! My sister and I started that habit a long time ago… we always went half and half at every restaurant when we were younger. So now when I go out to eat with friends I have to try their food and if it looks really good then I take pics and pretend like it’s mine on snapchat! (Petty) You know what they say: sharing is caring! So check out my favorite munchies in Côte d’Azur!

Au revoire!

  1. The food looks so delicious. I wish I would have ventured into the South of France during my Eurotrip. Putting this on my travel list.
